Hello from the OOLS Club Secretary. When I retired (ex Fire service) I assumed I would have lots of time to 'play trains' . . . but how wrong can you be! Managing the day to day running of the club and dealing with membership applications seems to take up as much time as did work.

When we decided to upgrade the Roadshow layout I developed the design concept and once Nick (Arkwright) had created all the 'woody' bits managed the track and the wiring installations. I now manage (often with Nick) the ongoing maintenance of the Roadshow, transport it around the country and keep it safe between all the different events that we attend.

I am also the OOLS site webmaster and manage the day to day running of the site plus all content updates.

Along with four grandkids that live only 500 metres away that’s it . . . there is no time for anything else!
