Hi folks, I am also a newbie to your very cool group. I tried googling steam model trains many years ago but neglected the word "live".

Anyway, I am located in Canada just north of Trumpland. So far on border wall!

Ive had a Hornby Dublo set since before '63 .Hoping to combine a steam engine or two with the electric so grandchildren can participate.

If there are any Cdn members i would appreciate an note.

Building from scratch wrt engines and controller. So far have a controller/transformer, a box of track and a rolling road kit under construction.Should have bought a rolling road kit sooner,it would have helped service the Dublo engines.

Although a former air force brat and survived a european posting I have only been to the UK once. Spent most of our time on Isle of Mann and Edinburough/Glasgow.
