This new Online shop is available to all members and consists of three separate sections

Hornby products (*)  -  OOLS club products (**)  -  The Engine Shed (***)

Online Payment by Debit/Credit cards will be accepted through the club shop PayPal account as normal. No fees are charged for processing card payments.  

 

                                               Payment by Cheque is not accepted in any circumstances.

 

Payment at shows will be via cards only, through the Zettle by Paypal system. Cash is discouraged due to security measures. Receipts will be issued for all show sales.

 

Shipping costs are calculated automatically based on total weight of package and destination. They are based on 2 areas: UK, and the Rest of the World.

 

Collection of pre-paid orders is a new feature available as an option at checkout. The next show in the visiting calendar will appear on the payment detail. (N.B. If you would like to collect your order at a different Show, please advise in the “Notes” section of the checkout process only if your intended show is different to that shown on the payment detail.)

 

There is no shipping charge applied to 'collection orders'.

 

(*) The Hornby products are a ‘finite’ supply of precious parts to enable the repair of serious wear and damage to locomotives It is not intended, nor will it be allowed for a member to bulk purchase from the Hornby Products section as this would impact the viability of the OOLS Service and Repair Scheme. This would also foreshorten the availability of some essential products for all members. Only a single item of each Hornby product can be ordered on each order and we would ask that only a single item of each Hornby product be ordered in any one month to allow for replenishment of stock. If it is not possible to add an item to a basket, this will mean it is temporarily out of stock. Check back soon.

(**) The OOLS club products are sourced and produced by the club specifically to help with immediate maintenance needs of the OO live steam modeler. However the supply of some items may still be restricted to help maintain stock levels.

(***) The Locomotives & Rolling Stock For Sale in the Engine Shed are sourced and checked by the club to ensure that members may buy items, safe in the the knowledge that they are in an 'as described' condition and are sold at a fair price (based on current eBay prices). This ensures value for the member with all profits from the sale used to support the aims and objectives of the OOLS Club. All items also benefit from a three month warranty.
