Equipment Donation

A club member has been having a bit of a clearout and decided that the big box his Mallard set arrived in is both surplus to requirements and in the way so he has very kindly offered to donate it to the club.

The box is in very good condition and comes complete with everything (except the loco). Now it just so happens the the club have a Mallard loco without a box to live in (bought as part of a previous bulk purchase) so we will service the loco, unite the loco and box and offer them for sale via the Engine Shed.

This will hep supprt club activities and is very much appeciated.

Equipment Donation

I am happy to report that a club member from across the big ocean has bought a Mallard set in the UK to use as a donor for one of the OOLS Special Edition Green locos.

Arrangements were made to ship the loco to me to arrange the upgrade and Robert has very kindly donated the rest of the set (not including the loco of course . . . 😶) to the club. We will provide a replacement loco and the set will sold on to new owner to raise money for the club.

Club member Ian had also just made a donation of £20 following a phone conversation on how to fix a problem with his loco tripping out (siezed tender wheels).
