The Festival of British Railway Modelling Doncaster, February 8th and 9th

We were promised bad weather and we got it on Sunday, most people knew that and came on Saturday, I don’t think I have ever seen this show as busy, you can see this from the pictures below.

The technical help desk was as busy as it has ever been, it started as a driver training experience with a rolling road some four years ago with one person. As you can see from the pictures there are now three. Initial driver training is now on the outside loop with Adrian.

On Sunday Sarah Hubbard, the organiser asked if I could take one of their trade stand people

back to London as someone had stolen his van. Roy a delightful gentleman travelled back to London with me on Sunday evening, he was not a young man, eighty in fact, but still doing the exhibitions selling his specialist glue. He’ll be at Ally Pally in March, go along and buy some glue, the trading name is Hafixs, he has a new van to buy!

See you at Ally Pally corona virus willing!

I do hope you found the trusty persuader in your bag, or had Maurice "borrowed it" again? Great pictures and comments, also lots of interest which is good to see.
