OOLS Club 2024 AGM
The holding of an annual AGM is a requirement of the club constitution. In recent years the club moved away from the physical meeting format by taking advantage of modern day technology and utilising online virtual meeting software. This resulted in more members being able to take part in the AGM and the committee have agreed that we should continue with this format.
The OOLS Club AGM now has a fixed date of the second Saturday of January of the following year so the 2024 AGM meeting will be held on at 2.30pm on January 11th 2025
This year the virtual meeting will again be hosted by club members David and Tammy Palmer via their Zoom account.
How will it work
· A new discussion titled OOLS Club 2023 AGM will be created on the forum.
· The meeting agenda will be posted for all members to review before the AGM
· Any member who would like to take part should submit a contact email address to membership@oolivesteam.com
· Prior to the day a clickable link to access the meeting will be sent to all members who have provided an email address. Clicking on this link when you are ready to join will either activate the Zoom software or, if Zoom is not present on your PC/Tablet/phone, it will download the Zoom app and activate the link.
· You will be asked to provide a name and to help others know who you are and also help compile both attendance and meeting notes. Please use your full name.
· To provide time for those not familiar with the process the meeting log in will be available from 2.15pm Saturday 13th January 2024. The meeting proper will begin at 2.30pm.
· Please turn on your camera but mute your microphone until you need to speak.
· The meeting software will be managed by David and Tammy Palmer. The software has a 'hand' icon and clicking on this will indicate that you would like to make to comment.
Please note: The meeting will be recorded and later made available for all members to view via a link on the club website plus key details will be used to generate 'Notes of the meeting' for the website.
