Unused Mallard Set For Sale
Hello,
We now have a second loco for sale where the proceeds over purchase price will go to the club.
This is an unused Mallard set; I hesitate to use the word new as she was built in week 7, 2004. It’s clear she has not been steamed, but has been taken out of the box a number of times for viewing as the tissue paper is torn in places and the padding between loco and tender is missing.
As she is unused I have not tested her as the new owner may wish to keep her in this condition.
The box is quite marked as you can see from the pictures; this will be reflected in the asking price.
The price for this unused Mallard set is £395, however if somebody would like to have the loco only then I would separate her from the set and offer her at £315.
Many of you may already have a Mallard; therefore we can also offer her with a name and number change of your choice for £50. Eric Fenwick our club treasurer will carry out the re-naming, the quality will be very good, as he has completed many name and number changes, doing a superb job with the club’s Kingfisher (nee Mallard) and my own Empire of India (nee DDE).
