For Sale and Wanted

We now have a rare Seagull for sale where the proceeds over purchase price will go to the club

She was built week 45 2004 and was bought by her one owner, new, in January 2006 from Fenwicks of Newcastle–upon-Tyne. According to her first and only owner she has been steamed about 3 times, that would seem to be correct as I have now had the opportunity to inspect her.

I have steamed her 2 times, once with the body off, and once with the body on. I have made a small adjustment to the pressure relief valve, as she was blowing off at too low a pressure. She runs very smoothly under load, a rake of six, both forwards and in reverse. Less so on light engine, but I think this is down to the newness of the loco. The timing is spot on. She needs some running.

The loco is unmarked, the box, has a small mark as shown in one of the pictures. Accessories have been used, but very little, the gloves are hardly marked.

The price is £375, I’ve arrived at this figure by taking prices achieved on e bay and discounting their fees. Remember all proceeds over the purchase price go to the club, so it’s a good cause!
