Any Mallards going cheap? (duck joke)
Hi All, consider me hooked!
I love the flying scotsman and i'm now after a Mallard, just the loco, i've got everything else. (although a second controller might be handy?) I'm watching one on ebay, but you never know your luck with ebay, so i wonder if a club member wants to dispose of one in my direction??

The thing is that if you deduct the cost of the controller and other bits from this set then the loco is in the region of £300. The Mallard was only ever available in the complete set and therefore any Mallard loco you may be offered without the rest of the set could have had quite a hard life. You might be lucky and get one for under £200 but this would most likely come from local advertisements in papers etc. You may have to wait some time.
