Hello fellow members, this is a proposal for a club badge(s) to be commissioned for club members with the aim of giving club members a distinctive and recognisable club membership sign and to put some funds into the club also.

The subject of a club badge was raised under the old club web site, unfortunately with the demise of the old site and the intensive work put in by the club organisers the subject of a club badge fell by the way side, and quite rightly may I add, due to the intensive and time consuming efforts put into creating the new club site, which I am sure we are all very grateful for.

The proposal is for 2 badges to be created, badge 1 based on the oval club logo that is prominent on the top left hand pages of the club web site and badge 2 based on the OO Live Steam Club logo situated in the centre of the home page under the welcome to the web site heading.

Whilst waiting for prospective suppliers to reply with costings and delivery schedules etc it would be of great help if club members could indicate if they are genuinely interested in the proposal for a club badge for members to purchase, and if so are the 2 badges proposed acceptable to members and also if members are willing to purchase the badges.

This will enable consideration to be given for the club badge proposal to go forward and any initial order for the club badges to be based on members interest and an estimate for badges to be made available for sale at the club road shows.
