Mazak rot
Just wondering if anyone has experienced mazak rot in their locos, during a cleaning of an A3 the pony truck just decided to disintegrate into half a dozen pieces. Wondering if this is a one off or part of a wider problem

This seems to be an issue mainly with a3 flying Scotsman’s.with the green wheels, they must have been a poor batch.
We have cast brass replacements into which you insert your wheelsets.
No more broken pony trucks!!!
