Delivery to Europe!!
Well, as you all know, we as the UK are now detached somwhat from our friends across the channel and this has caused much consternation with the delivery of packages from the UK to mainland Europe and vice versa.
We, (excluding Northern Ireland) have to now attach a customs notice (C22/23) to all out going packages to the rest of the world Including Europe and it would seem that the ‘bods’ at the export/import departments are all in a mess, cos its just taken from 8th Jan until today 10th Feb for a package to arrive finally in Cyprus. It disappeared off radar from the 12th Jan to 8th Feb so it was assumed lost. It has not actually reached its final destination either according to tracking info, but this is the state of affairs we are having to endure at the moment.
SO,,,, if any of you European folk are thinking of ordering spares, ( yes Mr Goth that’s you!) please allow plenty of time for shipping as your parcel may sit around a long while on desks in sorting offices and customs halls until the cogs in the machine get enough lubrication to work at anything deemed reasonable.
This may go on for some time as well, a bit like the pandemical restrictions on the rest of the world right now.🤔
