Plastic wheels on "Early" Mallard tenders.
When talking with Maurice and Chris at the Weymouth Show last weekend Maurice mentioned the fact that most early Mallard tenders were fitted with plastic wheels. I never thought about it until now but..☺️.......how does the tender pick up current from the track if its mounted on plastic wheels? Or is it just one axle that is plastic?
On the subject of tenders, does anyone know where I might buy a "Brunswick Green" tender for parts or repair? Thanks.😊
