I´m now having fun with Hornby LS since 15 years!
I have never recorded any statistics regarding the number of steamups or loco milage.
Nevertheless here is a rough estimation.
5 locos are in service: GF+FS since 2008, SL+PAP since 2009, MAL since 2012.
Looking to my oil bottles, about 750 steamups were made in 15 years.
This is 50 per year and an average of 10 per year and loco.
Average per loco:
Milage per steamup is about 600 meters, total milage (in 15 years) is 90 kilometers.
Total run time 75 hours, water consumption 3 liters.
Average engine RPM is 240. Total rotations of driver wheels are more than 1 million,
tender wheels 1.8 million.
I´d like to point out here that except for A3 oil filler seal and water filler seals
no seals or O-rings were exchanged up to now.
