Find R number
Hello all, I hope you won't consider this to be spam but if you do think it inappropriate for the forum please let me know. My position is a bit unusual in that I, as a pensioner, am trying to sell a live steam Flying Scotsman which my son bought on ebay from a lady who was trying to sell it after the death of her husband some years ago but which he never used. My son left home 6 years ago and the box has been lying in our spare bedroom ever since. It seems to be unused to me and it seems a dreadful shame that it is just lying there. My son is no longer interested in it. In order to sell it I've drawn the conclusion that I need an "R" number. I've spent all afternoon on the Internet trying to find this but have failed miserably! I just wondered if some kind soul in your club could point me in the right direction. The only clue I can provide is that the instruction manual is dated 2004. Many thanks in anticipation. Ken Kenyon.
