European orders after 1st July 2021
To all our European friends who order from the club shop, it would appear that Brexit is starting to bite as regards business between ourselves.
From the 1st July 2021 new VAT demands will be in place on all good shipped from the U.K. to the E.U and VAT will either be added at the point of sale or a demand will be made on the receiver in the EU for vat and duties before good are released from the shipping partner.
To do the former, we would have to register as a company as well as for VAT and charge VAT on all goods to every single customer both abroad and also in the U.K.
As we are not an exporter per se or a large organisation and we wish to keep things simple and the work load to a minimum, the latter option will be used.
This will mean, unfortunately, that all orders to Europe will be treated as the rest of the world and maybe subject to duties and extra costs to the buyer before goods are delivered to their destination.
As EU customers, You are welcome to place orders in the shop but be aware that the price you see may not be the price you ultimately pay before receiving your goods.
