Keeping in Touch
Hi Everybody,
There are many of us who have been severely affected during the Corona virus pandemic. None more so than charities who are experiencing a dearth of contributions. Your committee therefore decided to donate £500 to The Big Night In for Sport and Comic relief. Thanks to you and your purchases from the club shop we have been able to do this.
It’s unlikely we will be at any exhibitions in the foreseeable future, so we won’t get the chance to meet, as we have been into the lockdown for awhile now, I’m sure that all those jobs management have told you to do have now been completed!
So it’s time to play trains!
The club shop is open, Nick is posting items weekly, so get those parts ordered and service all of your locos.
We also have four locos for sale, A very little used Papyrus, steamed only twice at £895. Another unused Dwight D Eisenhower at £445 and a very nice used Golden Fleece at £395. As soon as it is safe, Nick, George and I will be getting together to put together the next batch of “How To Do Tutorials”

All, as Maurice pointed out, the shop is shipping on a weekly basis at the moment, usually on a Monday. We are in good stock of live drives and now they come with a 3mt extension lead included in the price.
Full instructions and online pictorial help is available to make up the kits and if you have not heard of them, you won’t know how good they are at transforming the way Live Steam can be controlled.
We have plenty of cylinder kits available for cylinder overhauls and while your at it, might as well replace that pesky white ptfe Superheater gasket cos sure as hell,,, it will be leaking.
