Reviving Hornby Live Steam?

This has occurred to me. But 'local' means a long way from here- from Beijing in the north to Guangdong Province in the south (where I imagine the locos were made) is about 2000 miles. I have written to Hornby Hobbies UK (9.3.18) suggesting they may be interested in having someone here (i.e. me) to help reactivate production. With a Papyrus going for 2000 quid plus on eBay, and a bit of clout from other members, maybe they'll think it a good idea.

I managed to access the video- it's at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ATBz3VTYZYE&t=2s It seems genuine and the loco appears to respond smoothly, although not much of the video covers the loco running.
