Query about boiler certificates

Please forgive my ignorance. Could anyone please tell me if I want to display and run my loco at an exhibition would it require a boiler certificate like it’s gauge one or larger brothers? I would be grateful for any advice.

The water volume of the tender is only 25ml and I would be surprised if the total maximum steam volume in the whole engine was any more than 50ml (and this only when the tender is almost out of water). As you say the steam pressure regulated by the safety valve is only 2 bar resulting in a maximum bar/litre value of 0.05.

The only failure I have witnessed was by the flexy coupling, the plastic pipe rupturing to the sound of a loud pufffff followed by a few choice words, probably louder than the incident itself. The resulting vapour cloud was less than the size of a football, the steam condensing to vapour almost immediately around the front of the tender.

The only part likely to cause concern is the outlet of the tender in which case the tank safety will blow. If distilled water is always used then this should not be a problem.
