only using idle mode
Im intressted on your guy's opinion on this and also im hoping this will be helpfull to someone.
So on my loco i've used the running and the super heat mode maybe 3 or 4 times. i normally set it to the lowest setting possible. wait about 7-10 minutes. and then run my loco like normal.
my reason and theory for this is that the lower voltage and therefore lower current, should hopefully prevent damage to the electrical system (especially the white connector and tender wheels)
aswell as the fact that the pressure relif valve still goes of quite often. so i dont feel like i need the extra omf. since it will just waste water at that point.
Does anyone else run their loco in a similar fashion?

thanks again dampfmaggus!
