The London Model Engineering Exhibition 17th-19th January 2020
We were for the second time located in the main hall, the exhibition is smaller than it used to be, but was still very well attended. As is very much the norm these days we were busy all of the time, both on the layout and the technical helpdesk.
As most of you know this is a three-day show, so everyone slept well on Sunday evening.
Tim Peters joined us on Friday and helped out on the technical help desk, he returned on Saturday with Caroline, his wife, and grandchildren, he likes to start them young!
Sadly, Charles couldn’t join us on Saturday as he lost a close friend. However, he was back on Sunday if a little and understandably subdued.
We had quite a few issues with the club locos, they get a lot of use, often run a number of times in the day. We are going to have to change our servicing regime to prevention rather than fix it when it goes wrong.
We are now into a busy time for us, exhibitions every month now through to August. Looking forward to seeing you as we go through the year.

We would normally have the backdrop in place, it does make us stand out, as we were located centrally in the hall we would have blocked the stand behind us. Hence no backdrop. The backdrop works best when we back onto a wall.
