National Festival of Railway Modelling Peterborough 7th and 8th December 2019
This is one of the biggest exhibitions of the year, it also the time that we hold your club’s AGM.
Set up was on Friday afternoon and as normal went very smoothly. The organisers asked us to add a Christmas feel to the roadshow, George brought along some Christmas decorations and Mike some Christmas hats which you’ll see in the pictures. The only thing that was not going very well was me, I was feeling decidedly unwell.
On Saturday we were good to go other than the exhibition venue itself was freezing cold almost all day, I seem to recall I took my coat off mid-afternoon. I’m please to say we were busy all day, both on the layout and the help desk. A number of members visited, Ronnie and Ronan to pick up a Papyrus and DDE. Darren and is father Dave brought along a Papyrus they had just purchased, she had just come back from Hornby and ran well.
After the show we had the Annual General Meeting, you can see the minutes, which Chris has just posted. After this we went to the nearby Harvester where we had a very enjoyable Christmas dinner.
Sunday as is the norm was less busy, I can only tell you this secondhand as I was still somewhat unwell and went home in the morning.

Thank you all for another brilliants show again and im looking forward to the next one here is a video i took on Saturday with My Mallard https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u_mI4Q3kBlU
