She will be missed massively, my Grandad and I have been following her on railtours for the last 18 years over different parts of the country, particularly on the CMEs she did in the 00’s and early 10’s. I was fortunate enough to be on her last two tours, it was emotional pulling into York for the last time. She’s done so much to represent the class over the last 55 years, it’ll be sad to see her go but being a product of the late 80’s I’m glad I got to see her in preservation.
