Cutaway Display Loco
Nick (the shop) has recently provided me a very tired looking Mallard. Instead of repairing it, however, I have butchered it such that it will never, every run again under its own steam. The purpose is to create a cutaway display for use on the roadshow.
So far I have cut out part of the rotary valve cover, opened up the side of one cylinder, removed part of the outer layer of the superheater, cut into the regulator housing, the oil chamber and the pressure relief valve. I haven't touched the tender yet and am hoping to use one from Chris that he's already hacked open. The question is: what else would you like to see ?
The loco currently looks like this, but how far do I go ?

Thoughts and suggestions please.
Thanks,
David

Currently using 2 x 9V batteries - one for each motor/roller. I will build them in and add an on/off switch to the wiring at some point.
