General Discussion

Hi all,

Apart from the 0.5 ml of oil every one to two runs, is any other oiling or cleaning required. The OO Live Steam DVD is silent on oiling or cleaning.

I presume the small cross heads and links have to oiled regularly but cannot find any reference, therefore:-

1) How often to oil the drive links and what is the best oil (with my other engines I user a lighter oil then steam oil)?

2) How often do the axles have to be oiled (if at all I have no experience of OO models)?

3) Any other daily maintenance?
