Hi Nanne. Nice to see a countryman over here. Here are some of my suggestions: Check if all the weels, pistons and rods are all able to move. Sometimes everything gets stuck after years of non-use. I had this issue with 2 "new" trains. Carefull maintanance is necessary in this case to get everything working again. Next, maybe even better at first, try to get a Hornby R8211 Rolling Road.
