This is just a quick message to introduce myself. My name is Simon, I live in East Kent, originally from Liverpool. I retired almost 3 years ago as IT Manager for the NHS. I started to build a DCC model railway, and for the past two years I have gathered all I need to build it, or almost all.
I was offered three Hornby Live Steam engines recently, which I bought and have decided to run a separate track alongside my DCC track to run them. I am proficient with DCC, upgrading, fault finding, repairs et., but know nothing about Live Steam, any help would be appreciated.
Looking forward to using the club website.

Welcome! I too have followed a similar route into live Steam. I bought mine a few years ago and after using it boxed it up while I moved my railway to a new location. So have just got it out of the box, can’t remember much and have lost the manual! Good luck with yours
