New here and just want to say hallo
Dear all,
my name is Christian and I‘m from Germany. I‘m close to my 50ies but though that old I still love all kinds of toys.
I‘m not new to Livesteam at all, my career started years ago with a Wilesco Lucas followed by a Regner TSSD. But that machines were much bigger, so I have to admit I‘m absolutely new to 00 gauge Livesteam models.
Years ago I have seen the neat Little Hornby machines when they have been presented in Dortmund at a fair for model making. But at that time unfortunately I could not persuade myself to become an owner of one. The years passed by since and all over sudden some weeks ago I remembered that little awesome machines. After some research on the web, I was happy enough to collect only a rather few days ago a brand new Mallard starter kit from a German Shop.
Then I came across this club and now I‘m happy to be here. I hope this is a great start into a new approach of the Livesteam hobby for me and I hope one day not to far away from today I‘ll be in the position to contribute to this community.

Thanks for the very warm welcome here and my best regards to all German fellows as well as to all the other steam enthusiasts all over the world. I‘m living in Germany in a small town close to the „Ruhrgebiet“, bigger cities not too far away are Dortmund and Münster.
