Hi my name is Craig "Craig's Hornby Upgrades" Like many of you I had a small Hornby set when I was 10 ( Jinty with five wagons), it wasn't even new then but a hand me down gift. Disappeared into a bag and managed to survive three house moves. Christmas 2019 wanted to follow the crowd and put a train under the tree. That was the start of repairing model trains. 100+ trains later, a YouTube channel and here I am with my first Live Steam, Mallard set. I suppose my thing is adding lights to engines and carriages and I've already started modifying a set of Pullman carriages to run on live steam. Will be a bit of a challenge requiring rectification, smoothing and automatic voltage control. Anyway, looking forward to the chat and glad to be here.
Doing some work on my carriages at the moment , will put the track up again sthe weekend and do more test runs. Additional videos will be posted . Cheers Craig
