Hi all. I joined years ago, came to the layout at the show in Birmingham (Silver Jubilee rake), provided an article for the club mag, bimbled about a bit, changed e-mail, lost my password moved halfway up the country, found the Farcebook page and then thought it would be easier just to re-join on here. It’s not so much the axles as the axle blocks that seize to the axles. We can now solve this problem. The earlier plastic axles can melt if the wheel sets get too hot drawing current but Eric has found a solution to this. Basically our advice is Do Not throw away any wheels as we can refurb them!!!
