Renewing interest
Hi there, my interest in model railways started when I was given a Hornby three rail set, a tank engine with a goods train, so long ago I don’t recall how I was given it.
Time passed marriage and family and then my son became interested so we bought him the Freight liner set, my loco wouldn’t work on this so a new undergear was made to accommodate the two rail system, this sparked my interest into scratch building a brass “Cock o the North”.
When I saw ”steamon2” Cock o the North on “YouTube“ I was hooked again, I’ve purchased a live steam Mallard, and as the saying goes watch this space.

I've lost in the ether the 20 or 30 original great reviews on ebay - one said "It should have a Hornby R number". It has been a bit of a crusade for me trying to correct a fundamental wrong; a product that got a bad reputation needlessly.
