Mallard having issues with forward, reverse and red light
Hi everyone,
I have a Mallard that is used frequently. Currently after a derailment it has been giving issues when switching forward and reverse. Once steamed, if you throttle forward it will not move and after throttling for some time it will whistle and red light wont come on before or after and only green light and then will move in reverse. If you then switch the throttle then it will will whistle and still no red light before or aftwr and will go green and then move forward. It is not consistent with the throttle direction and no red light comes on. Just briefly yesterday I saw the red light come up for a few seconds. Not sure what the issue is so thought to see if any of you know or encountered and know root cause before I start to look into.

have just had the same issue with a used mallard screw was almost right out and no sign of the spring so will get one ordered and attempt a repair , thanks for the information
