Hello. I am new to ools. I have bought a FSDT plus controller and I am having difficulty getting the loco to run.

Some background.

I bought the loco on ebay. The seller told me they they inherited it last summer unused, then run it up once to see if it worked (which it did) but decided to sell it.

I have your DVD and I believe I understand how to control the loco. I just cant seem to get it to turn its wheels under steam. The wheels seem to turn free enough when the engine is cold. However I am not sure how free they should be? The LED's, pressure release valve, whistle etc.. all behave exactly as shown in your instructions. I have also taken the body off to make sure that the regulator motor etc is turning (which it is).

I am seeing spluttering from the hole in the middle of the oil plug. Is this normal or should I replace the seal (I am going to replace it anyway, just incase)

Any advice on what I should do next would be greatly appreciated.
