Regulator power
I have just had my Flying Scotsman returned from a Hornby repair. It appears to be in good working order, however when I steam it up and it moves off, power to the regulator appears to cut. Power light on transformer is still on.
You may guess I am a relative rookie in this area but any help would be appreciated.

Just managed to run Locomotive on a rolling road. Regulator worked throughout. Does this suggest fault lies in track oval?
