Crossover Wiring question

I am currently redesigning my layout. The core of it is a 4th radius oval track and inside that a 3rd radius oval track each with their own separate Live Steam transformers and controllers. I wish to insert a crossover between the two oval tracks and intended to use two modified Peco SL-E95 electrofrog points to do this. Insulated rail joiners wiill be used at the frogs and the crossover rail itself will have a rail break on both rails which would isolate the two ovals. My concern is that when the tender wheels are running over the crossover railbreak (albeit for a very short time) they will be picking up power from both controllers! Please can anybody advise whether this could lead to loco running issues and/or power supply problems.

Thank you indeed Eric for pointing out that the controller will shut down if there is no load such as a loco on the track.I would think many of us have experienced this when the tender wheels of a loco are not quite correctly sitting on the track. Of course this has a direct bearing on my original question and I think your method of switching on the controller just after the loco has crossed over is a good way to go. Many thanks for your help.
