Dismantling Pressure relief valve
Hello friends, a sincere thank you for a warm welcome to the club and appreciation of people's willingness to share good advice.
I have been enjoying my Mallard running beautifully when suddenly it stopped.
It appears to be a blockage in and around the pressure relief valve (PRV).
there is plenty of steam before it, but none the other side of it.
please may you advise best way to dismantle the PRV, and which face wrench/spanner people use to remove the brass insert.
I want to avoid damaging the locomotive by using botched makeshift tools
thank you
Andy

Thank you Simon
the toolset looks the perfect solution.
The loco was used but judging by the discolouration it had been run very little.
I have always used distilled water and the PRV is blowing as usual.
May I also ask if the club leadership might consider commissioning a further batch of special tools?
