Technical

I noticed during one of my running sessions that their was a bronze piece on the track. I found out that it was from the whistle. When I try to put it back on it is a very loose fit. Not having it on doesn’t appear to affect the operation of the loco or the sound of the whistle. Any one know how to reattach it or if it is even something I should be concerned about.
