Oils 'aint Oils

Now here's a thought:

I am interested in Hornby's steam oil. I have a simple question: Does it have an ISO Standard? Looking into Garden Rail live steam locomotives, their steam oil is graded ISO 220. So is Hornby's product the same or is the viscosity different for the smaller application? The photo shown is Roundhouse Silver Lady 70th Anniversary model. Butane gas fired. 40psi working pressure. Adjustable for 32 & 45mm gauge track systems. Nearly as gorgeous as OOLS A3 & A4's. Yes/No? Hahaha.

I cant speak for the Hornby oils, but our own steam oil is a compounded Steam Cylinder oil with an ISO of 460, somewhat thicker than the oil you mention above. It contains Tallow and fats and is a high quality cylinder lubricant for steam equipment.
