Tender Connecting Pipe Sealing Issues
Good evening all, I need some advise.
I have replaced the two white seals on the Tender Connecting pipe underneath the safety valve on two locos and they both leak.
I have checked the service sheet to ensure they are correctly fitted. Has anyone had this issue? I don't know if the tightness in the screw has a large effect, but I have tried to avoid overdoing the bolt and damaging it.

Hi Nick,
I sure did, I fitted it in the order you described.
I’ll have to disassemble and reassemble maybe with a bit more torque on the bolt to see if that’s all it needs.
