I finally got around to it, it was harder than I thought it would be. But not so hard, worse problem was getting all set up in my den and forgetting my close up glasses but literally blindly carrying on without them. It took a while, (longer than the 3 hours that upsteam took for his). Really ugly . didn't paint it. I even put a brown wire where it should have been blue, (correct connections just wrong colour). Lots of double checking of wires paid off in the end. Works a treat on rolling road, lovely to see the engine running again, just had to watch and juggle the buttons for 25 - 30 minutes, big grin. Having built it I had no idea what to do with it , I had watched the video years back. But I sussed it out and now I need to put some track on the floor cos rolling road can get boring. Just wish I had found the very good build instructions on this site on the projects page before I started, well done to the person who put that together. Puts mine to shame I'll say but it will stay as is.....err...maybe.

Oh and any advice on cleaning all the oil off the body. and is there a vid of regular maintenance. Ermm in my haste I forgot to oil the running gear so I need to gen up on that.
