Thanks for the extra information. I tried to find some more information about magnet type "S", but so far, nothing. However, I noticed some temperature data on the Mabuchi website, but the curves were for -20C, +25C and +70C. There was nothing for hotter temperatures. I haven't measured the upper magnet temperature while running with the body on, but I guess it will be nearer 150C.

The webpage also gives a change in magnetic force per degree and also increase in winding resistance.

Magnetic force: -0.19% (ferrite) or -0.13% (rare-earth) reduction per degree C

Resistance: +0.39%

Therefore between room temperature and (guessed) operating temperature, there will be 40% increased resistance/reduced current and 20% reduction in magnetic force. I don't know enough to combine these effects properly, but maybe a 60% difference in performance!

I guess some testing is the only way to know for sure.
