Replacement Mallard Body
Hi,
After steaming my recently acquired Mallard for the first time, which went quite well, I came to clean it. As advised in the manual, I used methylated spirit with a cotton bud to clean the wheels. I then foolishly started using the methylated spirit to clean the body, which has resulted in white patches on the body.
Would anyone please know if the body can be salvaged, or the chances of obtaining a replacement body? I'm guessing they're not easy to come by, but am hoping that being possibly the most common variant there may be some around.
Many thanks
Paul

Thanks Ajay,
A car polish with a mild cutting action seems to have worked. A little glossier in places, but not immediately noticeable. I'll still try to obtain a replacement body, but at least I have a serviceable loco.
Thanks for the tip
