Upon opening up the newly received second-hand X5040 (original/unmodified), found that the entire S6 connector had come completely off leaving only the 4 posts sticking out from the board. The other end of this loom is still connected to H3 and has a dollop of hot glue to hold it in place. The S6 colour order of wires: yellow-orange-red-brown.

The query is: In what orientation should the S6 connector be reattached to the posts: either with the yellow wire closer to the volt meter body or with the brown wire closer to the volt meter body? (photo attached)

Being cautious and wishing to check if the S5 connector is positioned correctly too, the seven wires on S5 colour order is red-brown-yellow-green-blue-black-white with the white being closer to the volt meter body. Although this connector separates properly and can only be reattached in one orientation.
