Controller Problem
My controller has developed a fault similar to that of dampfmaggus. The direction lever now only operates the loco in one direction only. It works fine using the live drive controller attached to the controller with the loco operating in both directions normally. The fault therefore seems to be in the directional transistor array or diodes in the controller as dampfmaggus describes. Unfortunately I am no electronic wizardry so can anyone suggest where I can get a repair made.

Hi Alan,
the faulty controller you refer to is owned by member "guy".
I gave him some ideas how to fix the problem and he was able to repair it.
I'm located in Germany which makes things complicate.
If you answer to the post from "guy" he will get an email wakeup and may be able and willing to help you.
Additional hint:
In case the green LED does not indicate the direction after pushing the lever,
the problem is different. In this case I´d first check the associated microswitch and the wiring of the switch to the Main board.
