If you recall we said that the condition of your tender wheels is important to loco operation and that if they are seized or flat spotted then to get a new set.
Trouble is, new tender wheels are like hens teeth at the moment and so the only option is to restore the wheel sets you have.

*Tender Wheel Press Tool*
Hewn from finest machine Brass via the renowned CNC process and monogramed with the club moniker,,,,,,This tool will enable you to remove or press the wheels safely from the axles and then after cleaning the wheels and unseizing the horn blocks and polishing the axles, you will be able to reassemble the wheel sets to the correct gauge spacing. Your wheel sets will be as good as new!
As soon as I have some users instructions sorted and some Allen keys for operation, these will be in the club shop for members to enjoy.
Remember, just refurbishing a couple of sets of wheels and this little tool will have paid for itself.

Oohhh these are the early wheels!! The latter wheels have ceramic axles. Available from the club shop.l should you need replacements
