Sorry, i shouldn’t laugh but thats the other fault of mazak on Flying Scotsman’s, it seems all the green wheeled pony trucks come with that particular feature. None of the others are affected fortunately.

I have stopped stocking the green wheeled ones as they are all prone, they seem to have a flaw in there moulding process which leads to failure if you sneeze…!!!

Instead we now promote our , yes you’ve guessed it, Cast Brass universal Pony Truck.

Basically, You rescue your wheel set from the broken one and the riveted on plate. Insert the wheel set into the new truck and using the two screws supplied attach the plate to the new truck securing the wheel set.
