Hornby A4
Hi Im new to this just getting started. Have A4 60008 , has been running Ok but now emits high pitched alarm sound - from loco - when I switch power on. Any ideas?

Just to clarify:
- The loco emits a slight high pitched tone when the heater is switched on.
This is due to the Pulse Width Modulation used by the system and absolutely normal.
- The Controller can give an audible alarm in some situations, this is a loud beep.
