HI Guys,
Something a little different, my local museum is holding an open day on the 15th September and they are look for as many different types of displays to have on site.
Would the club be interested in something so far down south?
Gatwick Aviation Museum, near Gatwick airport as the name would suggest ;)
the manager there was very impressed with my live steam locos when we had a few beers together!

Dave this reply is a little late and I apologise on behalf of the committee that none of us picked up on it earlier.
To answer your questions I am afraid that it is not really practical for us to consider attending one day shows. Because we all travel separately and due to the distances involved we would need to stay in hotels. This makes taking the roadshow out an expensive business and most museums are not in a position to pay any expenses.
You taking your live steam stuff definitely does not tread on anybody's toes and I am sure our chairman Adrian will comment on this when he sees the post. He has long pushed the concept for mini one/two man roadshows to get to smaller shows at minimum cost.
I know this post is after the event but please let us know if you did attend, and if so how did it go?
