Introduction
Hi all,
Just a quick intro as a new 00 Live steam owner, after picking up a Mallard set and Scotsman here in Australia, both brand new / unused.
With my main interest being Gauge 1 Live Steam, I was fascinated by the concept of 00 Live Steam after stumbling across a few YouTube vids ............ and had to try it. !!
What great little locos !
Here's a vid of the Mallard's first run.
(Some nice steam plumage, especially from approx 6 minutes onwards)
It's proven to be an incredibly smooth runner on the track, with excellent low speed performance.

I've seen a few references to build dates on this site.
My Mallard kit is 01/04.
Were there any design changes / bug fixes etc throughout the production run ?
