This site is wonderful, given the paucity of proper manuals and documentation for the OOLS range! I would be hard pressed to properly maintain my loco were it not for explanations and information provided here, and helpful discussions around common problems. Thank you for being here.
Like many Hornby products, these live steam engines are mechanical marvels, but electronically depressing... we say hereabouts of Hornby "missed by that much", with deliberate reference to Maxwell Smart. One day I might get around to converting a loco to DCC control so adjusting the regulator is smooth and easy and does not involve interrupting the power.
